Carol Bocchino, Ph.D.

Carol Bocchino is an associate senior consultant with Guttman Development Strategies, Inc. who has experience with companies in the Fortune 500 classification, as well as with comparatively smaller clients.

She has worked across diverse industries, including:

Since 1980, Carol has specialized in organizational development (OD), process redesign, and human performance management. In her work, she identifies key areas for performance improvement, then designs solutions to sustain desired performance. These solutions typically include measurement and evaluation programs that promote and reward desired performance, as well as the appropriate support needed to sustain the total system.

In addition to her OD and performance management consulting, Carol conducts workshops and facilitates seminars in a variety of areas, including conflict resolution and team building, process improvement, problem solving and decision making, communication skills, and performance management and appraisal. She also has experience in executive coaching and individual assessment with a variety of assessment instruments, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, FIRO-B, and various career- and life-planning instruments.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Carol spent five years as a performance analyst with Praxis Corporation, an innovator in the assessment and improvement of human and organizational performance. She also was a member of the AT&T design and development team that introduced the “Reach Out America” and Reach Out State” programs to the market.
